THE CHURCH TODAY NEEDS SPIRITUAL MOBILISATION (Part 2)
John 15
There are of course, still few in The Church, Minister’s, who appreciates that Christianity is a way of life,and concerned themselves with today’s modern complex problems of man.
Their Churches are filled to overflowing, because they have the courage to preach sermons that are related to everyday life.
They have the Spiritual insight to feel the real needs of the people, and thus upholds their faith that “with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).
These Preacher’s have the understanding and insight of the gnawing Spiritual Hunger of our time, and reveals to The Congregation, “THE FOUNT” at which they can find the moral sustenance and Spiritual refreshments.
If we have many of such Preachers, then, humanity would then be fed with, The Spiritual food that will make life worth living; vis a vis “The joy of Service” (Exd23:25-26), “The Brotherhood of man” (1John3), “The Power of Faith” (Heb 11), The Strength Within “(Isa 40:31), ” The Glory of Truth “(John 17:17), Repentance from dead works. (Acts 26:20) The Kingdom of Heaven(Luke 17:20-37).
However, most Churches are led by Spiritually blind leaders(Matt 15:14) and thus The Churches are ineffectual and lacking in qualities that could invigorate our age. The people are sick and tired of sounding brass and tinkling cymbals of meaningless sermons, which are driving the multitudes outside the pale of Christianity.
Beloved,this scenario is not new,for a similar occurrence was recorded in Israel in The Scriptures.
2Chro 15:3-4 said “Now for a long season, Israel had been without The True God,and without a Teaching Priest, and without law. But when they in their trouble did turn unto The Lord God of Israel, He was found of them”.
To this effect, we must understand that man needs a higher Spiritual power than himself. His inner life must rest upon a solid foundation, that his Spirit may be revived,and his soul kept strong.(1Thess 5:23 saith, ” That the very God of peace, sanctify you wholly, and I pray God, your whole Spirit, body and Soul be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ “)
Apostle Paul wrote in 1Cor3:11″ For no other Foundation can no man lay, than which is laid,which is Jesus Christ”,and in Eph2:20 he corroborated, “And are built upon the foundations of The Apostles ànd Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself,being the Chief corner stone”
Hence, we must turn like Israel of the ancient time, they sought The True God,through The Teaching Priest and they found God(2Chro 15:3-4). This Commission is only for those that are genuinely called,and are ready to sit at the feet of The Holy Spirit to allow God work through them.
“How shall they call on Him, whom they have not believed?, how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?,and how shall they hear without a Preacher?, and how shall they preach, except they be sent?,as it is written; How beautiful are the feet of them that preach The Gospel of Peace,and bring glad tidings of good things”. ( ROM 10:14-15)
Stop seeking for fake prophecies and miracles, “Seek The Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added”……. to be continued….
