ACCOUNTABILITY THE WORLDLY WAY

Prov. 1:32 Saith “for the turning away of the simple shall slay and the prosperity of fools, shall destroy them,”

The world today celebrate any success, good or bad, but The Almighty God berates every bad success as evil and wicked.

In Isaiah 3:11 God cursed them,” woe unto the wicked, it shall be ill with him, for the rewards of his hands shall be given him “

Our God stands for justice and judgement.

Job 36:17 saith “But Thou hast fulfilled the judgement of the wicked, justice and judgement take hold on thee.”

Psalm 55:23 corroborated “But Thou o God shall bring them down into the pit of destruction, bloody and deceitful men shall not live half their days…” Beloved every time you live to cheat, you are under His curse.

The account of the Biblical text is The system of accountability the worldly way.

The unjust Steward represented

The Pharisees and Scribes in their ministerial functions.

Some which is pre-eminent ln the Church and secular Ministeries today, we are all stewards of Gods resources and one day we shall all give account of our stewardship.

The Rich man is God, who appoints and also calls to reconning.

This is applicable to all.

God entrusted, gifts, talents, opportunities and ministries in His Kingdom.

The Servant was accused of wasting his Masters goods, meaning, he failed to use what God entrusted to him, for the good of men to the glory of God.

What did this steward do, on the information that he would be removed?- He falsified the records, he tempted the debtors with immediate gains and made them sharers in his fraud, took the readiest and most direct means of securing at once their favour and silence.

That master; he too, behaved like one of the children of this world as he admired the sharpness

and quickness of the stewards actions.

Beloved, if this world were all, there would be a wisdom worthy of praise, when a Church or her Ministers adapted themselves to men’s passions or interest at the expense of truth.

That which makes it hateful, is that by so doing the Children of the light transform themselves into the Children of the world, meaning

let me rub your back and at my turn, you rub my back.

Thus, on this declaration, depend the whole doctrine of sin.

Sin is not merely imperfections, it is enmity to God.

There can be no shades of progression; uniting good and evil.

For in Him there is no

darkness at all, Good and evil may be mixed in an individual, but in themselves they are contrary.

The right use of wealth is in helping the less privileged and leading them to God,

(John 15:16).

The true prosperity stands in contrast with wickedness and answers to the spiritual wealth of peace, pardon, wisdom, Honesty,

Integrity and benevolence in the use of God given wealth as an Indispensable condition of all Spiritual advancement.
