THE CHURCH TODAY NEEDS SPIRITUAL MOBILISATION (Part 1)

Our Master and Lord Jesus Christ preached throughout the hills and valleys, ‘Healing in their Synagogues and preaching The Gospel of The Kingdom, and healing all manners of sickness and diseases among the people’ (Matt 4:23).
He went about spreading The Dynamic Gospel among all sorts and conditions of people,(Pharisees, Publicans, Harlots, Rich, Poor, High and Low) talking to vast crowds, to small groups, and individuals.
Let us listen and consider many of the so called messages of our Preachers on the media nowadays.
Is there something that would help us along life’s highway?
Is there any message of REPENTANCE from dead works?
Is there any message of RECONCILIATION back to God?
Do we hear messages of HOLY LIVING and RIGHTEOUSNESS, which exalts a Nation?
Beloved, is it not logical that sermons must be appropriate to our daily needs; to the present predicament of mankind? The Church must instruct without fear, the principles that will make us live the full life as commanded by Christ, not motivational speaking without Godly principles.
The Church must be apolitical, remember when John The Baptist interfered in politics derailing from his commission he was incarcerated and subsequently beheaded.
Many Men on the Altar had become seers and Diviners.
It is difficult to conceive of Jesus preaching in the formal and barren language of the average pulpit invocation of today.
Jesus for our example, came from an humble background, with a carpenter Father and a poor Mother, but He is aware of the visible riches as provided by God to mankind, the star studded sky, the lilies of the field, the falling sparrows, the light and breadth of God for mans sustenance, in effect His messages brought men Spiritual riches.
Today, The Church is not building the character of man, but the worship of non-essentials, the waste of time and money in competitive race for building top- heavy and unfruitful ecclesiastical organizations, the waste of energy on non Spiritual matters at the expense of human lives.
The Master Teacher founded His system on extreme simplicity.
Today, many of the so called Preachers have derailed from The Master’s footsteps, and everyone gone his own way.
There are still, of course, few in The Churches, who appreciates that Christianity is A WAY OF LIFE, and some have more concern upon the modern day complex problems of The Nation and The Church.
Please note that THE TRUTHS OF CHRISTIANITY are UNSHAKEABLE, but many have added THEORIES and DOCTRINES of men, but have forgotten what Christ said in Luke8:18b “…Nevertheless, when The Son of Man cometh, shall He find Faith on the nearth?”
“Examine yourselves,wheather ye be in faith; prove your own selves,. Know ye not your own selves,how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates.”(2Cor 13:5)
