GROWING IN THE SPIRIT (Part 8)

Ephesians 1:17-23

MIND DEVELOPMENT (C)

Apostle Paul by Divine Grace was endowed with both Academic and Spiritual knowledge, hence his personal Prayers to God for a Spiritual awakening of The Church in The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of God, that our eyes of understanding is enlightened to know the hope behind His calling and the riches reserved in inheritance for us His Children.

Today, the tragedies and evil of our World are the results of man’s neglect to walk in submission to God.

In effect, the Physical nature blinds man to the possibilities that are inherent in Spiritual intelligence.

All man can see in physical are his weaknesses, but when man obtains the Godly Wisdom and Understanding, he can bring to birth a brighter future.

We must walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7) for nowadays, men believe what science can be authenticated by prove, while Faith in contrary is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (Heb. 11:1).

Therefore, some of the despair of our day is the result of our slavery to science.

We have made science our Master, instead of it being our Servant. It should only be a tool to progress and not the ultimate end of our strivings.

Science is a perfect microscope with which to examine the minute’s workings of the physical World around us, but is worse and useless as a telescope to reveal the larger Spiritual World that lies on the horizon of being.

Science seems to disparage human will, and invincibility.

It never explains and ignores the inner reality of man, His Mind, his Soul and that part of Man that can escape the dreadful pressure of the Physical and overcome the limitations of the physical and makes miracles a reality.

Science can only explain environment but it cannot explain man.

It can weigh and measure the heavenly boodies, but cannot explain the inspiration that comes when man lifts up his eyes to the heavens.

Science can explain death in the decomposition of the body; but cannot explain life in the glory of being.

It can explain music and poetry in terms of sound and sight but cannot explain the thrilling ecstasy of music and poetry in the human personality.

Science can explain phenomena in terms of cause and effects, but cannot explain how Man had set the causes in motion in order to obtain the deserved results.

The Word ‘impossible’ does not exist in the dictionary of the Emancipated Mind. Luke 1:37 says “with God, nothing shall be impossible”
