TIME MANAGEMENT Part 3

Eccl 3:1&17

Today, emphasis must be laid upon the individual reluctance to accept responsibility.

This reluctance involves men, passing the buck of progress to the shoulders of The State.(The Nation)

We all know what is good and what our responsibilities as a good citizen entails, therefore, every efforts towards the realization of our goals in life must be explored.

There is, deep within every personality, a dimly- perceived goal, and man is at his best, and happiest, when striving to realize this goal, but its most pathetic when he denies his inner wisdom and sinks into apathy and resignation.

Man must have a goal. Not only in the interest of future progress, but in the interest of his present happiness.

This goal to which he strives is the antidote to a sickening concern with self, the only sure preventive against feelings of fear and worry (neurosis).

Without striving towards such a goal, his energies rot within him, producing mental disease and spiritual death.

An idle hand is the devil workshop. Give a man a goal, some worth-while objective, towards which he may strive, and you, at one stroke, redouble his strength, infuse him, with new energy, refresh him, uplift him, and give him the feeling that life has meaning.

A life’s goal is like a beacon that guides on journey of life, like on a perilious sea, acting like a light house to keep one off the rocks of disillusion and despair leading one to the haven of self realization.

The main purpose of life is to develop to the fullest every gift you possess

1Cor 12:7 says.. _”The manifestation of The Spirit is to profit withal….” creating with your own hands, fortune of the present and the future, we live in poverty, yet there are untapped treasures all around us.

We can find the illimitable strength, just for asking.

Matt 7:7-8 (Ask, seek and knock, and it shall be given.)

However, to see the treasures and to use it wisely, men must be born again.

That is a change in our perception of the mind, and more importantly, have a purpose that will make your daily task a joy and every rebuff but a stimulus to further efforts.

We must in short find the way of self development and to the highway of self realization, life will then be transformed with purpose and meaning and filled with joy and interests.

Please understand that time is the most scarce commodity, once lost cannot be recovered, hence we need to manage our precious minutes to every advantage.
