THE CHURCH TODAY NEEDS SPIRITUAL MOBILISATION (Part 4)
John 15
Where then can we turn, to find that which can transformt our existence?
How can we discover the way of more abundant life. For Jesus said “……I am come, that they might have life,and that they might have it abundantly” ( John 10:10b)
These are the questions being asked by humanity today. They are seeking a fountain of The Living Waters (Joel 3’18),and to make this happen,we need A SPIRITUAL MOBILISATION.
This urgent need of The World today is a REVIVAL OF THE SPIRITUAL LIFE AND A VITAL INTEREST IN THINGS THAT WILL ENDURE THE TEST OF TIME.
Because, the problems now confronting the world, cannot be solved by human knowledge or aid of The World Bank or The World Health Organisation,nor The North Atlantic Tearty organization alone, we must seek Divine help.
We must seek God,the source of wisdom and power.
We must revive the hidden power of God in us. How?,.By our Meditation, Prayers, and our Unreserved Zeal to seek God in Spirit and Truth. ” For the hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers, shall worship The Father in Spirit and in Truth.,for The Father seeketh such to worship Him”( John 4:23)
This kind of prayers work by a total surrender of our Body,Soul and Spirit. Praying by The Scriptures, not in creed or dogmas(The stereotype religious incantations).
For we can pray in our Spirit within the rush and roars of life. In the office or workshops, or by the quiet, lonely sanctuaries, and at the countryside or mountains, within the matchless beauty of nature,with the sound of the wind,for our organ music,and the star studied heavens as our roof,and The Voice of The Divinity within, as our Preacher.
It is in our own hearts that we can find Spiritual strength and guidance, plus the courage to build afresh, for:
…… “Finer still,it seems to me,
That God has set apart,
The secret Sanctuary of,
A temple in each heart.
Thus, every man who enters,
The humble doors of Prayers,
The Holy place of his own heart,
Can find God waiting there.”
