TIME TO LOOK BACK IN RETROSPECT
Psalm 103:1-5
Thank You, Lord, for all Thy free benefits. I can think, so I bless Thee, Father.
Let us think on these things…
“And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not dim, nor his natural face abated.” (Deut. 34:7)
I have repeatedly confessed that my age target in life is 120 years of God’s grace, according to Gen. 6:3, which God fulfilled in the life of Moses.
The major thing I coveted in the life of Moses was his strength, even to climb Mount Nebo unto Pisgah at 120 years old.
He was called of God at 80, and God testified of him. (Deut. 34:10-12) Remember, he also appeared at the transfiguration of Christ (Mark 9:4).
Many times, when people call me Baba, I look at myself over the years and acknowledge that the Lord has been my strength.
My heart is still younger within me, believing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Beloved, God is on your side and is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above your thinking and asking.
You may look back on days gone by. Never look down on yourself, but see a glorious tomorrow and a time to rise and achieve all the success destined for you.
He is the God of second chances. As long as you have a dream in your heart and you are working towards it, you can never be old.
David in Psalm 37:25 says, “I have been young, now am old, yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.”
Your golden and diamond years can be the greatest years of your life.
All the things you wanted to do when you didn’t have the time are now available to you.
I wish I had more time to read. I wish I had more time to pray.
Now you can—even with the care of your grandchildren.
Job 5:26 speaks of going to the grave at a full age.
Judges 8:32 speaks of a good old age.
Isaiah 46:4 says, “Even in your old age and hoary hairs I will carry you.”
In Joshua 14:11-12, Caleb said, “At 85, I am as strong as at 45; give me this mountain.”
Isaiah 40:29-31 says, “He giveth power to the faint… and to them that have no might He increaseth strength…” Let us rise above these challenges to enter into our promised land, for God is our strength and present help, even in this economic downturn.
Meet me at the top.
Beloved, I wish you all the best.
